Swire Hall Little Project - A Social Service Trip
With the objectives to stimulate actions to improve the education development of the impoverished rural areas in China and encourage other hall members to organize similar kinds of social services tour in the future, an organizing committee of Swire Hall has, with the support of UHearts and the staff of the Education Department of Huaiji County in Guangdong, proposed voluntary teaching and visits to schools and families in the Huaiji County.
With the high flexibility given by UHearts, the organizing committee has decided to be pioneers rather than mere participants in the trip. They would actively gather all necessary information and build up relationships with local contacting parties.
After the trip, a series of follow up actions have been proposed, including mainly sharing sessions. The organizing committee hopes that this cooperation relationship with UHearts and the Little Project can be sustained in the future.
