Fund-Raising Cycling 2012
Being an annual non-profitable event, organized by Simon K. Y. Lee Hall Students’ Association, H. K. U. S. U., aiming to help charities, the theme of their fund-raising cycling this year has been “They Built Our Road, We Ride for the Old”, for which it was designed to express their thanks to the elderly who have been long working for and contributing to the society.
The route, being around the Hong Kong Island, also symbolizes the foundation of our city which the elderly has paid their effort in building.
All proceeds from the event would be donated to the Hong Kong Society for the Aged (SAGE), a local organization aiming to ensure better provision for elderly people by offering them with diversified and integrated services.
