Student Project Funding Criteria
Rationale

Student autonomy and participation, being important elements of hall education, are of utmost importance to the success of the HED Project.

By funding and supporting student projects, students can be encouraged to be involved in the organization process, and therefore be benefited.

HEDO would support student projects by providing resources and administrative support, especially before they are launched.
Application Procedures

Complete & submit an application form, together with a project proposal and financial budget to hedo@hku.hk.

The proposal should contain:
-
A description of the objective(s) of the project;

A description of the educational value(s) of the project;

An explanation of how the project can achieve its aim(s);
-
An explanation of how the project meets the subsidizing criteria listed below;
-
A detailed description of all parts of the project;

The final submission date of each round application is the 20th day of each month.

After application approvals are done, on a monthly basis, selected applicants will be interviewed by the Committee.

Subsidizing Mechanism

The progress of the projects will be monitored by the Committee.

Support and funding will be provided in phases upon satisfactory progress.
